			Imagine a teenager who loves learning... Imagine a teenager who has the ability to make right choices in life and in relationships... Imagine a teenager who is passionate about contributing to their community... Imagine a teenager who has a strong sense of self worth, confidence and character... This is the heart of the Chaplaincy Project at Grovedale College. The Chaplaincy Project first began in 2004 at the request of the school community. It exists to encourage and support students, staff and families at Grovedale College and to date has proven to be a huge success. The Chaplaincy Project is overseen by the School Council and recognized as an official sub-committee of Grovedale College. The Chaplaincy Sub-Committee consists of representatives from five Christian churches in Grovedale. They meet regularly and oversee the Chaplaincy Team, which is staffed and coordinated by Bayside. The Chaplaincy Team works in cooperation with the Welfare Coordinator and staff at Grovedale College. Professional assistance is also accessed by the team through Chaplaincy Victoria. In Addition to the many volunteers who are involved with the Chaplaincy Project at Grovedale College, Bayside also supports two paid staff, Andrew Davies (Head Chaplain)and Robyn Davies.

			The role of the Chaplaincy Team continues to grow and expand.
