Sometimes school is just not enough. After all those hours spent banging away at the books, we can still find ourselves up the world's creek without a paddle, wishing that someone had told us how to steer clear of this mess.

Let's face it, 18-30 is an exciting and difficult time of life. You're out of high school with a lot of ideas and theories about how things work and now you get to put them all to the test! Buying your first car, moving out of home, cooking for yourself, budgeting, career choices, engagement, marriage, sex, politics, parenting... how do we master all of these skills? And how do we stop it all from messing with our relationship with God or derailing our spiritual calling?

Crave Life is about getting a handle on some of the basics of life, polishing a few survival skills, perhaps adding a few more, and above all, exploring how it all fits in with God's plan.

In 2007 we'll be conducting a Crave Life session on the fourth Wednesday of each month. This may involves a bringing in a guest speaker to talk about your voting options, a debate on genetic cloning, a resume writing workshop, or maybe even a class on how to change the oil in your car, who knows? Whatever it is, you are bound to pick up something useful.

To find out more information on the next Crave Life event, check the Church Calendar for details, contact Duncan & Cindy Esler or email the Bayside Office.
